As he stepped onto the floor
the crowd had no clue the magic
that they were about to witness.
The dancer in the night took a bow to the crowd was not yet his
Then he closed his eyes as the music took control of him.

His movements were strange
and the crowd was amazed
as he performed a sequence of moves from his brain,
it was hypnotizing the whole place was in a trance.
No being could resist the glow of his shine
as their bodies all began to move in time
they were captives to the rhythm of the beat of the music tonight

He inspired them
To move to the sounds of the night
To groove with the waves of their minds

As the dancer in the night made his way through the room,
he admired all the people who were feeling the groove,
they danced the night away as if they all had something to prove.
And in the heat of the moment he reached for the sky,
they followed his lead put their hands up high,
then they screamed so loud that the whole town could hear them roar

He inspired them

And As the night turned to Dawn,
the music played on
because for the dancers the night Had just begun

He showed them a light that they may have never known
